UTD SIT is a collegiate branch of Canine Companions for Independence. Canine Companions is a national organization committed to enhancing the lives of people with disabilities by providing assistance dogs. UTD SIT offers students the opportunity to raise and train Canine Companions assistance dogs to support the national program.
